Kittens should have their body condition assessed weekly to ensure they are receiving enough food for growth. Cats that are finished growing should have their body condition assessed every 1 - 3 months to ensure they are maintaining their ideal body condition. While it is true that cats/kittens do not NEED plant matter, the plethora of phytonutrients and fibre are always a fantastic addition to their diet. Phytonutrients are great for boosting the immune system and fibre aids in stool consistency and quality.
Mackerel is a fantastic oily fish high in Omega-3 fatty acids. It plays a key role in maintaining a cat/kitten’s skin & coat and helps combat inflammation within the body.
