What is the difference between Recreational Bone vs. Meal Replacement Bones?
Recreational Bone (Marrow Bones & Beef Rib Bones):
Meal Replacement Bone (Beef Neck Bones):
Serve Frozen.
If served frozen, bones will last longer which makes them great for tough chewers and large/giant breed dogs.
Practice Proper Hygiene.
Make sure to feed raw bones in an area that can be cleaned or while they are outside. These bones are raw meat and should be handled with the same care you would give when handling their raw pet food. Always be sure to wash hands and any surfaces used.
Do NOT cook them.
These bones are not meant to be cooked. If cooked, the integrity of the bones will be compromised resulting in the potential to split or break while your pet is chewing on it. Cooking the bones also decreases the nutritional value of it.
